Rotate PDF
Turn every page of a PDF by 90°, 180°, or 270° clockwise. The same rotation is applied to every page. Page order and page count stay the same. Pages are not converted to images.
Per-page rotation is not available yet. Encrypted PDFs cannot be rotated.
What this tool does
Rotate PDF turns every page in a PDF by the same clockwise angle: 90°, 180°, or 270°. The page order stays the same and the result is downloaded as rotated.pdf.
The rotation uses the standard PDF page rotation setting, so text and vector content are not rasterized into images.
This tool is useful when an entire PDF is sideways or upside down and you want the document displayed in the correct orientation.
Uploaded files and generated results are stored outside the public web root and are automatically deleted after the current one-hour retention period.
How to use it
- Upload one PDF file. The file can be up to 25 MB.
- Choose 90°, 180°, or 270° clockwise.
- The selected rotation is applied to every page in the document.
- Select Rotate PDF and wait for processing to finish.
- Download rotated.pdf when the job completes.
Important limitations
- Each job accepts exactly one PDF, up to 25 MB.
- The same rotation angle is applied to every page. You cannot rotate only one page in a multi-page document with this tool.
- Encrypted PDFs are rejected and cannot be rotated here.
- This tool does not crop pages, straighten scanned skew, or perform OCR.
- The 90°, 180°, and 270° options apply clockwise rotation only.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I rotate a PDF 90 degrees?
- Yes. Choose 90° clockwise and the same rotation will be applied to every page.
- Can I rotate a PDF 180 degrees?
- Yes. Choose 180° clockwise to turn every page upside down.
- Can I rotate a PDF 270 degrees?
- Yes. Choose 270° clockwise, which is equivalent to a 90° turn in the opposite direction.
- Does rotating a PDF convert the pages to images?
