Split PDF
Split a PDF into selected pages or separate every page into individual PDF files.
Files stay private and are deleted after one hour.
Use commas and ranges. The first page is 1. Repeated pages are kept in the order you type them. The server checks the real page count when you split.
What this tool does
Split PDF lets you work with one PDF in two ways: extract selected pages into a new PDF, or split the document into individual one-page PDF files.
Use extract mode when you want only certain pages in a new document. Use individual-pages mode when you want every page separated into its own PDF file inside a ZIP archive.
Pages are copied as PDF page objects. The tool does not rasterize the document into images just to split it.
Uploaded files and generated results are stored outside the public web root and are automatically deleted after the current one-hour retention period.
How to use it
- Open Split PDF and upload one PDF file. The file can be up to 25 MB.
- Choose Extract selected pages or Split into individual pages.
- For extract mode, enter the pages you want using commas and ranges, such as 1, 3, 5-7. Page numbering starts at 1.
- Select Split PDF and wait for processing to finish.
- Download split.pdf for extract mode or split-pages.zip for individual-page mode.
Important limitations
- Each job accepts exactly one PDF, up to 25 MB.
- Encrypted or damaged PDFs are rejected and cannot be processed.
- The requested page numbers must exist in the uploaded document. Invalid or out-of-range pages are rejected.
- Extract mode creates one PDF from the selected pages. Individual-pages mode creates one PDF per page and packages the files into a ZIP.
- This version uses typed page numbers rather than a thumbnail-based visual page picker.
