Terms of Service

These terms describe the current ME & MY PDF service: a set of browser-based document tools. The service is operated by Atiq Ur Rehman. Questions about these terms can be sent to Atiq.dev@hotmail.com.

Service description

ME & MY PDF is an online collection of document and PDF processing tools. You can merge, split, compress, convert, rotate, watermark, password-protect, and otherwise process files that the current catalog supports. Processing is anonymous: you do not create an account in this version.

The tools and their limits are described on each tool page. Features that are not listed — including OCR, AI, accounts, and payments — are not part of this service yet.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

• Process files or content you do not have the right to process
• Upload malware, exploit documents, or other files intended to harm systems or people
• Attack, probe, or bypass the service, including attempts to reach private storage, other users’ jobs, or internal networks
• Overload the service with automated or abusive uploads beyond ordinary interactive use
• Interfere with rate limits, access tokens, or session controls
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

The operator may refuse, rate-limit, or stop processing when these terms appear to be violated, or when needed to protect the service.

User responsibility

Keep your own originals. Files on this service are deleted after the documented retention window, and processing can fail.

Check conversion results before you rely on them. Automated processing can produce imperfect output. Formatting may vary. PDF to Word is not guaranteed to preserve the exact layout of the source. OCR is not currently supported, so scanned or image-only PDFs are not converted to editable text.

You are responsible for the files you upload and for how you use the downloads.

Protect PDF

Password protection is a PDF encryption feature (AES-256 open password). It is not DRM. It is not an absolute guarantee against all unauthorized copying once a file can be opened. You are responsible for choosing and remembering your password. This service cannot recover it.

Availability

The service is provided as available. These terms do not promise 100% uptime, uninterrupted access, or a guaranteed processing time. Jobs may queue, fail, or time out.

File handling

How files, sessions, and deletion work is described in the Privacy Policy. Uploading a file does not make it a public URL.

Intellectual property

You retain any rights you already have in documents you upload. Uploading a file does not transfer ownership of that document to the operator of this service. You grant only the limited permission needed to store, process, and deliver the requested output for that job.

The ME & MY PDF name, site design, and software remain the property of the operator or its licensors. Some processing libraries used by the worker are third-party software under their own licenses.

Disclaimers

Automated conversion and PDF processing can produce imperfect results, including missing text, shifted layout, or files that are not smaller after compression. The service is provided without a warranty that a particular job will succeed or will match a specific visual appearance.

Changes and termination

These terms may change as the product changes. The operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue tools or the service. The effective date shown above identifies the current version of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Pakistan.
